Most people these days listen to a variety of music and different genres but when it comes to a festival everyone loves their House and Techno – here are a few that we recommend this summer:
Junction 2
Located in South West London under the M4, its not exactly your most glamorous festival but if you are into your Tec, this is one not to me missed. Created and managed by Adam Beyer and his record label Drumcode, the sound system at J2 is second to none.
With Adam’s Techno connections there are a number of stages with top DJ’s and producers on every one, every minute of the day.
Elrow
Inflatables, giant chickens, great food stands and the best in house music, Elrow was first launched in Barcelona and now hosting parties worldwide. They are known for their crazy designs and atmosphere and certainly know how to throw a party. The first year they announced Elrow in London, it sold out so quickly they had to add a second day.
This festival is in London again in August.
Dekmantel
If you like good vibes, an amazing crowed and the top DJ’s from all over the world… Dekmantel is the one for you. This 3-day festival is set in Amsterdam in August, with its iconic square logo and main stage that makes you look and feel like you are on another planet.
Lost Village
If you want to finish off the summer with possibly the best festival in the UK, Lost Village will certainly not disappoint. A lot of people head over to Ibiza towards the end of August/start of September but if you are struggling to pull the pennies together, head up north to Lincoln and Lost Village. People really take the dressing up a notch here but don’t feel like you have too as well, you can still bust out your Luja’s and take a dip in their hot tubs or ‘Lake of Tranquillity’.
Glastonbury
Obviously, if you were lucky enough to get a ticket to Glasto, you’re in for a treat. As it was not on last year to allow the farm land to recover, we imagine they will pull out all the stops this year. From Metal to Techno, they have it all. As its 5 days long you can really pick and choose what day you fancy. You can see Kylie Minogue and The Killers to Stormzy and Four Tet.
